If you hadn’t already guessed, my name’s Sophie. I’m twenty-two years old, Yorkshire born and bred, but I adopted a scouse persona whilst studying English at the University of Liverpool, before heading back to the homeland to do an MA in Print Journalism at the Uni of Sheffield.
I’m not too sure why I felt the need to start this blog: I’m a complete imbecile when it comes to technology, and even creating this very first page was a bit of a hassle for me. I guess I just wanted an outlet to track my thoughts and movements over the years- kind of like writing a diary, but without me feeling twelve again.
Similarly, the title of the blog may be a puzzle to you. I have chosen to call my online space ‘Sophie’s Anecdotes’ due to my inability to verbally tell stories- something that I am constantly mocked by my friends for! I am (hopefully) much better at writing my tales down, so please stick around.
Errrrrm I don’t know what else to tell you.. I have a little sister, a passion for old music, I sing A LOT and I have an appalling full fringe that I refuse to get rid of. If you want to know more, I suppose you’ll have to keep reading..
